SERP in SEO

A search engine results page (SERP) is the page displayed a search engine in response to a query by a searcher. The main component of the SERP is the listing of results that are returned by the search engine in response to a keyword query. Search engine results pages are web pages served to users when they search for something online using a search engine, such as Google. The user enters their search query (often using specific terms and phrases known as keywords), upon which the search engine presents them with a SERP.
COMPONENTS
There are basically three main components of SERP, which are

  • The search query contained within a query box
  • The organic SERP results
  • Sponsored SERP results
The search box is located on all major search engines like Google, Yahoo, and Bing. Organic SERP listings are the natural listings generated by search engines based on a series of metrics that determines their relevance to the searched term. Web pages that score well on a search engine's algorithmic test show in this list. These algorithms are generally based upon factors such as the content of a webpage, the trustworthiness of the website, and external factors such as back links, social media, news, advertising, etc.
Paid SERP listings are advertisements, or sponsored links, included by search engines in their search results. Websites pay search engines to have their web pages listed here. However, this service is distinct from pay per click, which refers to advertisements placed on websites.

The box on the right side of this SERP is known as the Knowledge Graph (also sometimes called the Knowledge Box).In this image Google introduced Tecxform internet market experts. It shows the address, location and all information about the company.

Facebook Marketing Strategy

Social media has vital role in 21st Century. Earlier, very few were active in social media. But now a days, Social media activities are increasing day by day in different forms ie Skype, Whatsapp, googletalk, messenger, YouTube, vediochat, imo facilities in mobile phone etc.Socialmedia is familiar for everyone, let’s talk about different Social media Marketing Strategies. One of the Social media marketing is Facebook Marketing Strategy.

Features of Facebook Marketing Strategies
  • Fans
  • Engagement
  • Timeline
  • Ads
  • Insights
  • Share
  • Best Biz Apps
  • Contests

Steps to Implement  Facebook Marketing Strategy

Before you start marketing on Facebook, you should have these things in place:
A good website: Your website is the hub of your business and should look professional and showcase what you have to offer your customers.
A clear business model and plan: How are you making money? This sounds obvious, but many entrepreneurs don’t have a solid business plan and don’t understand things like the cost of goods or how much money they can (and should) allocate toward marketing.
An email marketing delivery service: Some large consumer products may not need an email delivery system, but most businesses still need to use email marketing as part of their overall marketing strategy. Email is not dead and is your best chance of being seen by the bulk of your current and potential customers. There are many email providers out there to choose from, including Constant Contact, AWeber, iContact, Infusionsoft, MailChimp, Office Autopilot and more. Find one that fits your needs and budget.
An optimized Facebook Page: Before you start marketing on Facebook, get the basic elements of a good Facebook Page in place.
Once you have done these things, you can begin to integrate your Facebook marketing with your overall marketing plan.
Set Goals : Any strategy begins with goals. What do you want out of your Facebook Page? Sales are the obvious choice, but there can also be secondary goals that lead to sales.
Gather leads. Using Facebook as a lead generator is a great goal. Using some type of email opt-in is a great way to gather leads from people who may be interested in your product or service. You can give away a freebie that relates to your product, host a free webinar that may have an offer at the end or host a contest that gives away your product to the winner.
Get sales. Selling directly from Facebook is sometimes a challenge. You can’t push your sales messages on your fans too often (I suggest 10%–20% of your posts, max). But you can track your sales. Make sure you have special links when you post your sales messages. Or set up Google Analytics to track conversions. If you are running Facebook ads, make sure you are tracking the ad conversions.
Whatever goals you set up for yourself, make sure you are attaching specific numbers and deadlines with each goal. Also make sure you know how you will measure each one of these metrics.
Research: Mainly research on our competitor based on keyword analysis, socialmedia likes ,share and social media bookmarking activities like twitter etc. Also  make sure you know the latest techniques on Facebook that are effective. Keep up with the trends so you know what is working for others.
Design Facebook Experience: Now that you have your goals set up, work backwards from those goals to determine how you will achieve them. Want to get 500 new fans in the next 3 months? Make sure you either have the activity level or the marketing budget to support that goal.
Set Up an Editorial Calendar :Having a plan in place for what you will post each week will help you streamline your activity because you can schedule some of the posts, look for good content and be more regular with your posting.
Set Up an Activity Calendar :The other thing you want to do is plan your activity so you don’t get sucked into the black hole of Facebook by watching too many cat videos. You can schedule your daily activity, weekly activity and monthly activity by using a simple Excel spreadsheet. Also take some time to map out your long-term activity and marketing plan, along with an estimate of your outcomes. That way, you know what techniques you need to be learning or putting in place beforehand.
Measure your Progress : Take time to look back at your progress on Facebook so you know if your marketing is working. Understand how Facebook Insights work so you know which posts are working for you. You can sort your posts by Engaged Users to see how many people are interacting with your content in some way (includes likes, shares, comments and link clicks).

9 Strategies As A Content Writer

1)   Stay in research mode at all times.
In order to keep your queue filled with great content ideas, you need to stay in research mode at all times. Research shouldn’t be reserved for planning or writing sessions only. The quality of your content will increase substantially if you do it on an ongoing basis, as ideas pop into your head.

2)   Write in your own Unique Voice.

Your content should have an individual style, that is unique to your personality or brand. Style is your most prized possession as a writer, and it should continue to evolve over the lifetime of your career.

3)   Talk about One thing only.
Each piece of content should have one point. Only One. After you write make sure your writing stays on point.

4)   Find a unique angle to cover your topic.
Every piece of content has:
A Topic- a subject of discussion or conversation.
                            A Point- a major idea.
A Slant- a specific point of view.

5)   Make the first sentence your best.
You have about 3 seconds to hook your readers and get them reading. After your headline, it’s up to your first sentence to do the job. Never mislead. Your headline and first sentence should take the reader smoothly to your main point. But do say something that makes people pay attention.

   6)   Craft an irresistible lead.
The lead is what writers call the introduction to your content. For every short articles, it could be the first paragraph or two. For books it could be the first chapter. But for most content, it’s the first 100 to 600 words: the intro and your point.

7)   Kill the HYPE. Keep it Believable.
Your readers don’t want to waste time on             content that isn’t accurate or trustworthy.                                                                                                  So no hype and no stretching the truth.

8)   Plain writing is best.
Short paragraphs, short sentences and easy words are the most readable. Digital content is not what you learned in your English class. Shorter and simpler is your mantra for better readability.

9)   Edit, Edit, Edit.
Great writing never happens in first draft. The first draft is usually a good effort at figuring out how to put your ideas into words. As a result, they’re almost always badly written. Great writing happens in the editing stage so when you write just get your ideas down and write fast so that you can keep up with your ideas and then put your best effort through several rounds editing.

Master the 5 essential tips in 2015

1. Create an SEO Strategy That Maps to an Audience
  • Identify new ways to tackle adjacent markets
  • Discover new keywords to target
  • Understand what types of content perform
  • See where the competition is doing well, and where you can do better
2. Creating Incredible Content That Earns Links
Earning a link from a high-quality, relevant website will not only help with your SEO but also with referral traffic, which can lead to more sales and brand exposure. Creating incredible content that people will want to share is still the best way to earn links.

3. The Broken Link-Building Method

Find broken links on a site that is relevant to your niche. You then contact the webmaster with the broken link and recommend your site as an alternative to the broken link.

4. Outreaching a link

Bit old but still quite powerful way is the link outreach way. This works better if the site has a slightly different business than yours but may share a common audience.

5. Mobile SEO

Every website should have a mobile marketing strategy for 2015 and beyond. Mobile should be a core part of any SEO plan in 2015. However, you must be cautious as configuration errors caused a 68 percent loss of traffic.

Pay Per Click

Need a rush in for the 'right visitors' to your website 'right now'? Do you want an extra edge over your rivals in the online world?  Pay Per Click is for you!

PPC is a cost effective way to get your site noticed. PPC is an attractive model for advertisers because they only have to pay for actual traffic generated by their ads. You need to pay to the publisher ‘only’ if your ad gets clicked. It comes along with other non paid links/search results that, it is apparently seen as ‘natural’ search result. PPC can be seen as banner ads, flash ads or textual ads generally above or right of the search results. Search engines will often place PPC ads under “Sponsored Ads” or “Sponsored Links” which also makes them easier to notice on a page that is crowded with text and other items competing for a web user’s attention.

Google Adwords and Microsoft adCenter are two most popular pay per click management services. The rates of PPC ads vary according to the popularity of the keyword search. While ‘mobile phone’ would have a heavy competition, ‘blue cheese’ will not.

Pay Per Click, benefits ?

1.Issue based traffic: It can create a buzz about a new product you launched or a special issue.  PPC is effective in placing your product in the top list for a certain period as to catch the attention of the webies.  Another advantage is that you can even change the message of your campaign mid-way.

2. Potential customer at your hand: each click generated is a real potential customer, so spending a few bucks to increase the number of clicks makes sense.

3.Niche term: If you are trying to generate traffic for a highly specific keyword, PPC can often provide bargains. For example, you might not want to pay the top bid for 'ice creams' but 'Meriboy Icecream' is probably a lot less expensive. (Meriboy, payment later ;)). Broader terms get far more searches, but has a disadvantage. Since everyone bids on the broad terms, the cost per click is generally quite high. And the chances of a conversion even if someone clicks on your ad, is lower.

Pay Per Click has now become a basic and commonly used tool in online marketing , that you cant just ignore it. We will help you get clicks, converting clicks to conversation is left to you!

Content marketing
Content marketing is the art of communicating with your customers and prospects without selling. It is non-interruption marketing. Instead of pitching your products or services, you are delivering information that makes your buyer more intelligent. The essence of this content strategy is the belief that if we, as businesses, deliver consistent, ongoing valuable information to buyers, they ultimately reward us with their business and loyalty.

Social media marketing: Content marketing strategy comes before your social media strategy.
SEO: Search engines reward business that publishes quality, consistent content.
PR: Successful PR strategies address issues readers care about, not their business.
PPC: For PPC to work, you need great content behind it.
Inbound marketing: Content is the key to driving inbound traffic and leads.

Content Strategy: Content strategy is part of most content marketing strategies.

Social media
Social media is most powerful tool and active tool used for Search Engine Optimization[SEO]. Social media itself is a catch-all term for sites that may provide radically different social actions. For instance, Twitter is a social site designed to let people share short messages or “updates” with others. Write a descriptive Meta tag : A meta tag contains the brief information about the webpage and is placed below the hyperlink of the title in the search results. So,make sure that this data is rich in keywords and key phrases and is relevant to the content of the webpage.

Produce quality content : Make sure that the content you write for the title is relevant and unique. Make sure that your content is more informative than promotional.Content is the only thing that drives direct traffic. So, try to update your site with fresh content consistently.
Work on your links : The more links you have from good quality,high-ranking and relevant websites, the higher you will rank. If possible, get text links containing relevant keywords.Tread very carefully with reciprocal linking.Links should never be bought.Technically, you're purchasing a link if you offer one back in return.Ideally, all links should be natural, so the important thing is great content that people want to share (e.g. blog posts answering questions).

Promote yourself on social media : Social media is free and more and more people are starting their purchase journeys there. Facebook and Twitter are the biggest, but there are other important one such as Pinterest.

Search Engine Marketing

Search engine marketing (SEM) is a form of internet marketing that involves the promotion of websites by increasing their visibility in SERPs through optimization and advertising. SEM may use search engine optimization (SEO), which adjusts or rewrites website content to achieve a higher ranking in search engine results pages, or use pay per click (PPC) listings. SEM is a type of Internet marketing associated with the researching, submitting and positioning of a website within search engines to achieve maximum visibility and increase your share paid and/or organic traffic referrals from search engines.SEM involves things such as search engine optimization (SEO), keyword research, competitive analysis, paid listings and other search engine services that will increase search traffic to your site.

Benefits of SEM
Search delivers an active, targeted message to your online properties.
Individuals who see your SEM advertisements are actively searching for the keywords you indicated. For example, if you are in the baby carriage business, you would most likely advertise on the following keywords: Baby Carriage, Baby, Carriage, Babies, Active Baby, etc. Now if anyone searches any of the following words and you are paying enough per click, your advertisement will appear. Now here is the best part! As an advertiser, if you use the Pay-Per-Click methodology, you don’t pay unless a user clicks on the advertisement. Therefore, as a business, you only pay for people who are actively searching the key words your company selected and who found your advertisement relevant.
Search is the most popular medium for locating information.
74% of internet users perform local searches and of this percentage 82% of local searchers follow up offline via an in-store visit, phone call or purchase (TMP / comScore). From July 2007 to May 2008, Google has processed a total of 65.6 billion U.S searches. This is an average of 5.96 billion searches a month or roughly 20 million searches per month. Google represents 61.8% of search engines during this period. In other words, people are using search engines to find out about your company’s products or services.
Search Engine Marketing has one of the lowest costs per customer acquisition
SEM is a great marketing medium and very cost effective compared with other marketing mediums. As displayed by the graph, Customer acquisition is just below $10 while direct mail is highly ineffective at around $70 per customer. Granted the cost per customer can vary drastically based on the industry but this gives a good overview of the effectiveness of Search Engine Marketing compared to other direct marketing channels.

Internet Marketing

Internet marketing can mean a variety of things. At one time, internet marketing consisted mostly of having a website or placing banner ads on other websites. On the other end of the spectrum, there are loads of companies telling you that you can make a fortune overnight on the Internet and who try to sell you some form of "Internet marketing program”. Internet marketing is becoming an increasingly important part of nearly every company's marketing mix. For some online business, it is the only form of marketing being practiced.

Objectives of Internet Marketing
·         Communicate Company message
·         Conduct research as to the nature
·         Sell goods, services, or advertising space over the Intenet
Essential Steps to internet marketing success:

  •          Optimizing Your Website
  •          Creating Content
  •          Implementing a Social Strategy
  •          Converting Visitors into Leads
  •          Nurturing Leads into Customers
  •          Analyzing & Refining Data
Pillars of success of Internet marketing:

Relationship: Creating strong relationships with an audience is critical to everything we do here. Rather than constantly hunting down new customers, we’d much rather create a valued environment that benefits our existing readers and customers and keeps pulling them back. We don’t advertise in the traditional sense; instead, our readers do a great job of “spreading the word” for us.
Direct response copywriting : We certainly stay abreast of the latest social media trends (and sometimes create them), but underlying everything we do here is solid copywriting techniques. Starting with a killer headline and moving strategically through the copy to a stirring call to action, traditional copywriting technique works amazingly well in social media. “Old-fashioned” copywriting advice can make all the difference between a business or blog that limps along and one that truly thrives. We’ll show you precisely what we mean in the initial issues of the newsletter.
Content Marketing: What’s the backbone of the Copy blogger formula? Deliver great content. Then keep delivering great content, but in a strategic and focused way. Every once in a while, make a great offer that benefits the reader and involves the exchange of cash money. Of course, we’ll give you some more specifics on how to do that once you’re on board.
Have something worth selling: Everyone is selling something. It might be a product, a service download, an idea, or a worthy cause. Whatever you’re selling, it’s got to be worth the price. (And never forget that reader attention is a valuable commodity that’s in strictly limited supply.)Whether you’re asking for dollars, euros, yen, or valuable time and attention, you’ve got to deliver something that towers above your asking price.
